Background:
 Dr. Oluwole Matthew AKINNAGBE, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Communication Technology, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, obtained his professional training at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and holds Ph.D in Agricultural Extension with specialization in Agricultural Planning and Evaluation. He is member of many professional organizations including Nigerian Association of Evaluators (NAE), African Evaluation Association (AfrEA), American Evaluation Association (AEA), Agricultural Policy Research Network (APRNet), Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON), African Growth and Development Policy Modelling Consortium (AGRODEP) IFPRI, and International Society of Extension Education (INSEE). Dr. Oluwole has participated in many consultancy sponsored by national and internationally development partners on impact evaluation, rural development, communication, agricultural innovation systems, agro-technology generation and adoption and institutional reforms. He has good mastery of the computer and its applications to problem solving situations including data analysis using computer softwares. He possesses excellent communication skills and has many years of experience in development work, teaching and research at the University level. Dr. Oluwole has published widely in reputable national and international scholarly journals. He won the Young Extension Professional award in recognition of the outstanding contribution in the field of extension teaching, research and field extension services in 2013 by International Society of Extension Education, India.
